Frank is a specialist in Hospital Management and has 27 years’ experience in Human Resource Management of Hospitals and Hospital Groups. This includes serving as an HR Director and Executive of Harmony Gold Mining Company and others. Frank has strong general management and negotiation skills and has been instrumental in many creative ventures and change management programs within the industry. Frank is the current chairman of TEBA Ltd. and a Director of both Healthshare and the Healthshare Pharmacy Companies. He is a registered industrial psychologist and his academic qualifications are: Bpl.Hons, M.Comm, Mdp and Edp.

Frank’s anticipated Roles & Responsibilities in the Group would be:

  • Hospital Services and Group Management at Top Level & Strategic positioning of the company
  • Corporate Governance & Identifying of new business ventures & opportunities
  • Industrial Relations & Pharmacy Management
  1. b) Tony De Coito – current Health Share – Managing Director http://www.healthshare.co.za/

Tony is a medical doctor who is passionate about business and the Management of Hospitals. He has an MBChB medical degree, as well as a B.Comm and an MBA, with distinction, from the Witwatersrand

Business School. Tony has 17 years’ experience in the healthcare environment, of which 13 years have been at senior management level. He has overseen many healthcare transitions and has strong communication

and management skills. Apart from being on the Healthshare Board of Directors, his main contribution is in operations and on a strategic level. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Hospital Services and Group Management at Top Level & Strategic alignment
  • Integration of all initiatives and projects & Increased business profitability

 

  • Discovery and execution of growth opportunities & New business opportunities

 

  • Contracts negotiation

 

  1. c) Gerhard Pretorius – current Pegasus Group – CEO http://www.pegpropgroup.com/

 

Gerhard is a very experienced and qualified Civil Engineer, with more than 25 years of Hospital Design and Large Project Construction Experience. A Previous owner and Director of Hospitals within the Netcare Group,

Gerhard built and jointly owned Umhlanga, Ballito and Richards Bay Hospitals, amongst many others that he constructed. As an ex-military Colonel, and commanding Officer of a South African Special Field Engineering Battalion (known as 44 Field Engineering Squadron), the discipline and timeous delivery of critical project functions shows true, in all of Gerhard’s projects – which are delivered on time and within budget. A true rarity in the turn key Construction business. Gerhard initially worked as a Contractor on Oil Tanks, Mines, Roads, Stadiums, Power Stations, Paper Mills, Water Purification Works, Commercial Buildings, Offices, Civil Engineering and Building Projects. He started his career when he worked for Group 5: Heavy Civil Engineering Projects 1976 till 1984, Grinaker Civil and Building 1984 till 1987, Goldstein Civil & Building, Housing 1987

 

till 1989, and Stocks & Stocks Civil & Building Project Management 1989 till 1991. Then focused on Hospitals Gerhard started construction of the Ferncrest Hospital in 1990 and subsequently the Development and/or Project Management of; Richards Bay Hospital, Olivedale Hospital, Phase I & 2; Umhlanga Hospital and Ballito Hospital also Major alterations to some 35 hospitals in the Netcare Group and 25 clinics for Medicross. Gerhard, commenced with Maintenance of Buildings at Sun City in 1990 and 56 Hospitals for the Netcare Group, as

well as Maintenance of own buildings. Gerhard also worked for Goldstein Housing as contractor on Hostel

Complexes for Mines, Precast housing projects in 1988, since then, have undertaken and developed housing

 

Projects countrywide.

John is a Marketing Professional, with a Passion for Large Complex Deal Composition and Sales. As owner of Black Swan Holdings, John is involved in very unique and highly profitable projects. With a solid track record in bringing People and Technology together to achieve business results, John’s is one of the contributing architects for this Hospital business opportunity. John is also the Chief Executive of Black Swan Energy,

a Private Renewable Energy Company, as well as founder member of Dexaflo, a Carbon and Gasification Technology Company. John started his Career in the Mobile Cellular and Information Technology industry in 1992 – then involved in the Marketing and Sales of High End Technology Solutions. John was very successful in the compilation, creation and closure of large profitable deals – and during this time built up an annuity Revenue Stream for the business, in excess of ZAR450 Million per Annum – all based on long term contracts. John became an Entrepreneur in 2009, and started amongst other businesses, a Charcoal Carbon Business

within the Black Swan Group, in the region of Richards Bay. Through this he built up extensive experience of the

Carbon Manufacturing Processes, and the Carbon Markets. In 2013, John started a new business, called Dexaflo, in partnership with his associate, Johan Pieters. This business then developed its own Technologies, which included Waste to Energy Power Generation, Carbonization Technologies from Biomass.
